I was born in Palm Springs, CA, but raised in San Diego, CA from a young age. I’m sure grateful that my parents chose San Diego, of all places, to raise their daughter. Growing up here was an experience I try not to take for granted.

After high school, my professional career started like many others, as a barista, which was really a great start. Soon after though, I found myself as an Administrative Assistant that also took on some bookkeeping and accounting tasks. I soon learned that, out of all of my different job responsibilities, the finance tasks were my favorite. This turned into more finance jobs such as Accounts Payable, Finance Coordinator, Finance Manager, Accounting Specialist, and some time spent freelance bookkeeping. I had the unique opportunity to work with several different businesses, learning a lot and absorbing as much as I could about the finance world.

Now, I find myself excited to take the experience and certifications that I’ve gained and help other small business owners maintain compliant books that help them sleep a little better at night.
